Apple AirPrint for iOS 4.2 enabled on Windows OS

A new feature has been introduced by Apple in its latest iOS called as AirPrint . AirPrint is a wireless printing feature by Apple for the latest Apple iOS. It is a great application for the iPad users too. This feature detects by its own the printers available for printing literally anything you want. It connects over the Wi-Fi and does not require any software or drivers to be installed. This new feature has been added in the iOS 4.2. In the starting period it worked only with a few HP printers which were made to be compatible with this feature but you can now use this application for almost all printers and enable it for Windows too.

In the following steps I will telling you “How you can run this feature for almost every printer and on Windows”:-
1.To enable printer sharing : (for Win 7)Click on Start->Devices and Printers->Right click on your printer->Select Printer properties.
2.Click on the tab “Sharing” and check “Share this printer”. After that click OK.
3.If you have not got iTunes installed then get Bonjour Print Service here.
4.There are some installers available for AirPrint though the most recommended isElpamsoft AirPrint installer.
Download the file and run AirPrint Installer.exe.
Click on “Install AirPrint Service“ button.
5.After the setup is complete test your AirPrint by by selecting in pop menu in Safari or your Mail.
Authenticate your command on the windows host computer and you are ready to print.
